SUVs and normal cars...
They have power transmission to all the four wheels where as in normal car the power transmitted to the rear wheels only. As SUVs involve in reaces, there are more chances for the SUV getting stuck with the rear wheels in mud, pit etc... Since power can be transmitted to all the wheels, the front wheels will come in handy in pulling the vehicle outside the pit. The same goes when front wheels get stuck, the rear wheels will be helpful. Now a days, i think this feature is made available for normal cars also...

Street lights...
Its very strange to find reasons that lie behind everything... even street lights...
Why people prefer yellow color emitting lights?
- I came to know that our eyes are very active in yellow region of Visible spectrum... thats the reason they put yellow lights...
cheers to thinkers..!

Wierd thought...
I got a wierd thought after i felt lonely when my friend left to visit his father... we need others to share our experiences, feelings... and somewhere i read a perfect partner is one who can understand the differences between them and not similar thinking person... so whats this idea all about..?
There came an incredible thought as everyone says... that at the point of creation of universe there is only energy..which got divided into matter and antimatter... imagine in a way "Nature loves symmetry".. which means a lot... may be symmetry about a line, point etc..
I kept thinking and i felt nature is symmetric around point...
positron - electron
light - dark
truth - lie
positive - negative
if we go on..
matter - anti matter
and i think there might be even
positive energy - negative energy
gravity - anti gravity
positive density - negative density
positive time - negative time
call me crazy, but i think there is a lot to discover...

Why do Golf balls have dimples..?
Basically, when there is a flow over some body like sphere, at some point of velocity, there is separation of the boundary layer. This results in eddies in the wake region. This increases the drag on the ball. When the dimples are present, the fluid boundary layer is in better adhesion with the ball as the flow becomes Turbulent due to dimples. If the ball is hit with a spin, these dimples scoop up the air to the rear reducing the drag even more and also generates lift force on the ball, making it to travel even more distance.

Why Gear-Ratio will never be an integer..?
Gear ratio: Its the ratio of number of teeth of one gear (pinion) to the other gear.
Generally, wherever you see the ratio is never be an integer. Suppose one gear tooth is bigger and the groove on the other gear is smaller. Then, if the gear ratio is an integer, after EVERY specific number of rotations, the bigger tooth will become the matching tooth of smaller groove which results in excessive stress and finally results in the failure of the material.

How can we create Micro-Gravity room ?
This is actually done by some researchers. They took a plane and after reaching sufficient height, the plane will be driven at an angle from the horizontal, towards the earth, with some acceleration. This acceleration should be such that the component of it, almost balances the gravity. This can be done only for few seconds. Hence the plane is driven in a curve, similar to that of sine wave, to get the micro-gravity situations repeatedly.
So the course of the plane is a series of take off and landing, in the midair.
* The photographs used is just to explain the procedure.

Why brain surface has grooves and bumps ?
When you see a picture of the brain you probably think of a wrinkled gray blob. Well, the wrinkles are called cortex and it is where the majority of brain cells or neurons reside. This is wrinkled so as to increase the surface area within the limited space to accommodate more neurons, which is basically Charles Darwin theory, which is struggling to be the best, new generations with more talent stuff. Amazing isn't it?

Why almost 75% of brain is water?
Possible reasons:
1. Brain works continuously and hence needs more energy and also electrolytes for producing electric impulses. Fluid (blood/water) is the only medium to transport energy, electrolytes in our body.
2. During the function, brain produces approximately 20 watts of energy everyday. There should be some way of removing that heat. Also brain has so many grooves, patterns on it making the surface area of brain bigger. In addition to this, fluid supports in removing the heat.

Why sky is blue?
As sunlight reaches the earth atmosphere, it encounters the gas molecules. These molecules which intercept the light have a tendency to absorb their specific region of the light spectrum (VIBGYOR). Mostly blue and violet which have low wavelength and high energy, which has wavelength approximately equal to that of oxygen atom diameter, gets absorbed in high quantity. These molecules then radiate these colors and scatter them across the sky. The reason why we perceive the sky as blue and not violet is because our eyes are more sensitive to blue. Thus sky looks blue.
When you look at horizon level, there is lot of distance. So the emitted light from the molecules gets reabsorbed by other molecules and hence sky looks a little pale blue in that direction.

New questions..
1. why do we have brain as two cerebral hemispheres?
To be clear the question is about.... why is it so? not how is it formed..
2. Why is our body built in such a way that the right parts of body is linked to left part of brain and left parts to the right brain part ?
3. Why almost 75% of brain is water?
4. Why do people get eye-sight?
5. Why do we forget things after a while? why can't we remember just like the computer, loaded with files..?
6. After all everything in any organism is due to chemical reaction... but why do we have different feelings, egos, tastes, strengths etc..?

What happened to Titanic Ship actually..?
You see... metals undergo yielding till some point. But brittle ones break when impact is there just like glass. Titanic was travelling in very cold waters which made the metal (ship made up of) kinda brittle in nature. When it hit the ice berg, it got shattered like glass and water kept coming in. Eventually it sank. Understanding these phenomenon helped people to manufacture materials which can overcome this kind of problem (brittleness).

Plantation on mountains.. very high
Plantation in cold or icy places
I came to know recently that the trees in icy places like himalayas etc.. have very dark leaves. As the sunlight is rare, and the place is cold, they evolved in such a way that they have to take as much heat as possible (the amount they require) from the environment (sun). Hence the leaves are dark to absorb more heat...
Ever wondered about this matter ..?
