How can we make our play better ? Bringing in support from both cerebral hemispheres..!

I was new to tennis. As usual, like others, the first step was to get control over the hitting by hitting the tennis ball to the wall. I am a right handed person, curious to be an ambidextrous player. In this stage itself, I started to play lefty.

It was so hard and thrilling. After a while when I switched to play righty, my play was much better. When I played righty for a long time continuously, I was not that good when compared to when I shift my play from left to right. I started to analyse, what happened. I made a hypothesis.

When we use our normal habits, like playing righty myself, the reflex plays more role than the voluntary thinking of the brain. When we play with other hand, its a bit difficult. You get your brain to think a lot, each and everything. You try to get control on the things. So eventually you will understand the game better. And moreover when you switch to normal, you feel comfortable and at the same time more assistance from your brain in the thinking process. I think this makes our play better.

Now I am an ambidextrous player in lawn tennis, table tennis. :)

Why do we shiver..?

One thing about the rains... they are awesome.. the greenery looks amazing with new sprouted leaves. We went for tea, walking all the way in rain, jumping the flowing water. It's cold and i started shivering. And I started thinking about it..

We can decrease the heat loss from our body by bringing our hands and legs close by reducing the surface area. But beyond that..? that's where shivering could help. I think shivering is like minuscule exercise. This generates some heat inside the body.

Why are we not comfortable with White Led "street lights" or some yellowish tubelights??

I don't know about others but I am uncomfortable with this and I tried to find what could be the reason for this. Possibly the problem could be different for others and the reasons could be different. These all depend upon the exposure of us and our earlier generation. However, wondering about things is the main motivation behind this blog.

So the thought is: Over the generations we got used to sunlight (spectrum). As we know white light is a mixture of various colors.

Now if we look at Tubelight specifications: a temperature is mentioned. Now from Planck's theory on Black body radiation, if the spectrum is same as that of sun's light, we feel the light as comfortable because it has that similar amount of colors mixing to produce white light as in sun light.

Because over the years our sensors (eye's cones & rods) got calibrated well to this detection level (of that spectrum range). If the temperature mentioned is different, you will technically see some color of light more dominating.

Now if we look at LED street lights, the phenomenon is that we pass current and electrons get recombined to give flash of light (at a frequency we can't distinguish between continuous or discrete). So the light has some particular wavelength (may be green/blue/something..) but not white because we can get white only through the combination of different colors. So they have small LEDs packed together which give red, green, blue on whose combination white light is seen. You can learn a bit more on LEDs in this link: white light using LED

The problem with this is that the resultant spectrum is "whether it is same as that of the sun light ?" So as long as the resultant spectrum is same as sun light spectrum (for people who are more habituated to day light), the eyes feel comfortable.

Any suggestions to improve the article are welcome..!

Why, big animals like dinosaur aren't born again..?

This is some information i got from an article of a blog dinosaurhome. It was very interesting and i wanted to write it here.

There are some theories proposed that because of big meteorite fallen on earth, these big animals have become extinct. The question is why can't they take birth again? from the evolution theory?

There was another theory which was put forward, which says, that meteorites have fallen, a lot of them. Due to which there is increase in gravity of earth. And their hearts/any circulation system, may not be sufficient enough to circulate the blood to all the parts of body. It so happened that they couldn't exist.

An interesting theory.. isn't it?

A big thought..! or a silly one?

I had got a sudden feeling, what could be the effect if forests are destroyed..? what could be the effect of digging earth for petroleum, materials etc.. what could be the effect of displacement of a large amount of earth may it be due to earthquakes or by industrial mines..?

What might be the result..?

I was thinking, and got some amazing, interesting ideas on the effects.. They may or may not be true.. but its not wrong to think and explore, imagine.

A lot of oil is being removed and whatever done to it, the final state is gaseous form, CO2 etc. There is huge deforestation, burning etc.. finally turned to gaseous form CO2 etc. Global warming, a lot of water remained in gaseous form (i am not sure)..  Mines displace a huge amount of earth..
I think the inertia of earth is changing.. decreasing day by day.. there is decrease in gravity taking place day by day. The days are becoming shorter due to increase in earth's rotation speed (conservation of momentum - mass decreased- velocity increases). What will this result to? There are increased spatial variations of gravity due to mining. Earth is, kind of, turning into hollow spherical body (might be of little hollowness). This can result to sun pulling us more?? and there is this, that moon is going farther from earth (from a documentary). Eventually, is this going to be unstable system (Earth, Sun, Moon) ?? What might happen? Are these changes on Earth significant ? I keep pondering..

$ Is it possible that the moon is drifting away from earth because of this effect ?? $
I think so..!

Why visit Temples..?

WHY VISIT TEMPLES ? (Scientific Reason)
There are thousands of temples all over India in different size, shape and locations but not all of them are considered to be built the Vedic way. Generally, a temple should be located at a place where earth's magnetic wave path passes through densely. It can be in the outskirts of a town/village or city, or in middle of the dwelling place, or on a hilltop. The essence of visiting a temple is discussed here.

Now, these temples are located strategically at a place where the positive energy is abundantly available from the magnetic and electric wave distributions of north/south pole thrust. The main idol is placed in the core center of the temple, known as "*Garbhagriha*" or *Moolasthanam*. In fact, the temple structure is built after the idol has been placed. This *Moolasthanam* is where earth’s magnetic waves are found to be maximum. We know that there are some copper plates, inscribed with Vedic scripts, buried beneath the Main Idol. What are they really? No, they are not God’s / priests’ flash cards when they forget the *shlokas*. The copper plate absorbs earth’s magnetic waves and radiates it to the surroundings. Thus a person regularly visiting a temple and walking clockwise around the Main Idol receives the beamed magnetic waves and his body absorbs it. This is a very slow process and a regular visit will let him absorb more of this positive energy. Scientifically, it is the positive energy that we all require to have a healthy life.

Further, the Sanctum is closed on three sides. This increases the effect of all energies. The lamp that is lit radiates heat energy and also provides light inside the sanctum to the priests or *poojaris* performing the pooja. The ringing of the bells and the chanting of prayers takes a worshipper into trance, thus not letting his mind waver. When done in groups, this helps people forget personal problems for a while and relieve their stress. The fragrance from the flowers, the burning of camphor give out the chemical energy further aiding in a different good aura. The effect of all these energies is supplemented by the positive energy from the idol, the copper plates and utensils in the *Moolasthan*am / *Garbagraham*. *Theertham*, the “holy” water used during the pooja to wash the idol is not plain water cleaning the dust off an idol. It is a concoction of Cardamom,*Karpura* (Benzoin), zaffron / saffron, *Tulsi* (Holy Basil), Clove, etc...Washing the idol is to charge the water with the magnetic radiations thus increasing its medicinal values. Three spoons of this holy water is distributed to devotees. Again, this water is mainly a source of magneto-therapy. Besides, the clove essence protects one from tooth decay, the saffron & *Tulsi* leafs protects one from common cold and cough, cardamom and *Pachha Karpuram* (benzoin), act as mouth fresheners. It is proved that *Theertham* is a very good blood purifier, as it is highly energized. Hence it is given as *prasadam* to the devotees. This way, one can claim to remain healthy by regularly visiting the Temples. This is why our elders used to suggest us to offer prayers at the temple so that you will be cured of many ailments. They were not always superstitious. Yes, in a few cases they did go overboard when due to ignorance they hoped many serious diseases could be cured at temples by deities. When people go to a temple for the *Deepaaraadhana*, and when the doors open up, the positive energy gushes out onto the persons who are there. The water that is sprinkled onto the assemblages passes on the energy to all. This also explains why men are not allowed to wear shirts at a few temples and women are requested to wear more ornaments during temple visits. It is through these jewels (metal) that positive energy is absorbed by the women. Also, it is a practice to leave newly purchased jewels at an idol’s feet and then wear them with the idol’s blessings. This act is now justified after reading this article. This act of “seeking divine blessings” before using any new article, like books or pens or automobiles may have stemmed from this through mere observation.

Energy lost in a day’s work is regained through a temple visit and one is refreshed slightly. The positive energy that is spread out in the entire temple and especially around where the main idol is placed, are simply absorbed by one's body and mind. Did you know, every Vaishnava(Vishnu devotees), “must” visit a Vishnu temple twice every day in their location. Our practices are NOT some hard and fast rules framed by 1 man and his followers or God’s words in somebody’s dreams. All the rituals, all the practices are, in reality, well researched, studied and scientifically backed thesis which form the ways of nature to lead a good healthy life.

The scientific and research part of the practices are well camouflaged as “elder’s instructions” or “granny’s teaching’s” which should be obeyed as a mark of respect so as to once again, avoid stress to the mediocre brains.

SUVs and normal cars...

So whats so special about SUVs....?

They have power transmission to all the four wheels where as in normal car the power transmitted to the rear wheels only. As SUVs involve in reaces, there are more chances for the SUV getting stuck with the rear wheels in mud, pit etc... Since power can be transmitted to all the wheels, the front wheels will come in handy in pulling the vehicle outside the pit. The same goes when front wheels get stuck, the rear wheels will be helpful. Now a days, i think this feature is made available for normal cars also...
