Ice skating

Ice skating people have shoes will blades. These blades are very sharp (very small area rests on ice) that they create immense pressure (force/area) on the ice surface when they stand over ice. When the pressure is high, the temperature increases and ice melts and forms drops. These drops are very small size that the surface tension can keep it in spherical shape. So they act as if they are some iron balls under the skating blades, which just makes the blade (shoe) to slide over the drops, making the surface almost friction less. So cool huh..!!

Storing food

People say that storing food in refrigerator is good because it can last longer as there will be no bacteria etc. But the truth is Bacteria is OMNI-PRESENT. It's just the cold temperature in refrigerator effects the low-hormone functions, digestive rate, growth rate... that ultimately help in storing the food for longer period. At room temperature (around 35C) the bacteria's activity is high. Thats why in summer food gets spoiled early.

Ants

Ants are one of the famous architects of building and also good navigators.. Whenever they go in search of food or something, they release a chemical called Pheromone. These ants go in random manner. As time passes this chemical evaporates and smell will be lost. So while returning they chose the path which has the highest concentration of Pheromone. This way they are able to find not only the shortest path but they won't get lost. Scientists have observed this character and people are trying to incorporate this kind of process in internet stuff... so that the data speed etc etc will be higher. Ants are also great architects in a way they build their homes in an extra ordinary way that the inside temperature is always constant. There will be inlet for cold air and outlets for exhaust warm/hot air.

Pupils dilation

Eye has an amazing character in responding to light. When we are out in hot sunny day we open our eye very little. The eye sensor creates a reflex action to not to destroy the retina due to exposure to more light. And during dark nights, our pupil area of the eye through which light reaches retina becomes larger so as to send more light and makes capable to see. When there is a power cut and it is dark... your pupil is wide open to allow more light and when the power comes back, we don't feel comfortable as our eye is in a state to allow more light. It takes a little time to our eye later which it adjusts the pupil area to allow sufficient amount of light to make us see things good. People having eye sight is due to insufficient amount of light falling on the retina... they use spectacles to adjust the light to get concentrated on the retina thus capable of looking things clearly..

Administering oxygen

The oxygen is passed through water so as to enrich the gas with humidity without which the wind pipe of human body dries up and becomes uncomfortable and may get complicated.

New borns

When kids take birth, the number of brain cells they get remains constant throughout the life... its just the brain cells grow big but the number doesn't change... whereas the remaining organs have some number of respective cells which in future undergo mitosis to give rise to more number of cells. This is the reason for kids having head size relatively larger compared to an adult.
